We successfully launched and completed a pet bed initiative that repurposed textile waste into meaningful support for Maui’s animal welfare organizations. A total of 44 pet beds were created from donated, worn-out textiles and gifted to Maui Humane Society and East Maui Animal Refuge. This effort helped reduce textile waste while supporting local animal shelters through community donations and partnerships.​ For the shredding, we partnered with Mālama Maui Nui, a Keep America Beautiful affiliate here on Maui.
